Total banger! Only halfway through the episode and I’m already looking the guests up.
Speaking of sigil magic I think I stumbled on a major sigil. In Minecraft there is a mechanic called red stone. You use it like wiring for mechanical systems, but it is actually a red powder your character sprinkles on the ground forming specific patterns. I believe the random symbols all players are making is generating a source of chaos energy. Most likely it is a sigil of the Rothstein family whom appear to have changed their name to Redstone to disassociate with their mobster past in bootleg era New York. The Redstone family today is one of the main entities that controls the flow of information, and appear to be the primary entity creating propaganda against Disney. I know it is clear Disney has agendas they are pushing, but ever notice how there is a focused effort to shift our opinions on Disney. If we think of the world as being run by mob bosses that mostly work together well occasionally having gang wars, than all the sigil magic we see being thrown around right now is a gang war between the Rothstein family and the Disney family. In closing I think the power Minecraft accumulated was enough to challenge the Disney for supremacy.
I wanted to clarify my above comment was not trying to make any reference to the religious views or affiliation of either party. What I was trying to say is more along the lines of 2 massive media empires are having a propaganda war over control of collective consciousness. The only reason the name of the family behind paramount is relevant is because a project they would have otherwise no affiliation with gave them a boost in influence over collective consciousness. To try an give a different example anyone named Brandon would have claim over energy associated with lets go Brandon meme, but each Brandon that asserts a claim gains only a share of that unused energy. If no entity claims a collection of energy over a period of time that energy implements itself in the most relevant way. For the Brandon example the original race car driver named Brandon would gain the energy by default, but it would be like gaining luck since no direct focus was attached to it when the energy was claimed. My final example collective consciousness works in the world of what is possible so if a large group gets together to levitate the pentagon collective consciousness might interpret the intent as elevate the pentagon in influence.
