That’s right. The servers are not the problem. The problem is that the video needs to transcode and it takes some time for that process to finish. During that process, the videos can still be played but are a little unstable. Rather than making everyone wait, we choose to release them hot and fresh the moment we get them. But with all of the negative feedback, maybe we should make everyone wait?

Or you could just utilize Web native formats instead of taking the extra step and time to transcode.
The videos we upload are in web native formats, but they need to be transcoded in order for people to have various bitrates to watch them at (480p, 720p, 1080p, and 2160p for some videos). If we just uploaded a 4K Ultra HD video to the site and forced everyone to watch it at that one resolution, performance would be impacted in a much worse way than having people wait a bit to watch their show.

Driving through VA isn’t as bad as he makes it out to be, it sounds like he was driving through Emporia, which is the only place you don’t ever want to speed. That being said you shouldn’t be speeding 10-15+ over anywhere really.
You should have detective Matt Thornton on. Hes a cop that opposes this bad cop behavior. This guy seems like the result of being beat down by the system. Matt has got some opposing views to this guy. Cops shouldn’t take it as escalattion when you ask for a supervisor or badge number. If they don’t like it go be a security guard.
